I'm in college now and things are different I guess. I'm willing to bet that I'm a different person then the one who wrote in this blog in March of 2006. A lot has happened since then my March Madness picks blew, I miraculously graduated high school. I worked at Camp Phillip and I made it threw a semester of college. Well thats my short re-entry into the blogging world.

The March Update

The wonderful month of March, featuring March Madness, the start of track practise and the beginning of my last quarter of high school. But before I start talking about March I should probably reflect a little bit more on February. I think February 2006 will go down in Lakeside history as the Great Purging. Things all started out with the ever popular myspace.com which everyone in the world seems to be using. However comments left on this website by members of the Lakeside student body in regards to the administration caused quite a stir. It went from our vice principal telling everyone they had better remove the trash to expulsions for two gentlemen who went cursed him out there blogs, to a scene straight out of the movie Mean Girls. The entire student body recieved an hour and half long seminar on blogging and the internet. Anyways the a lot of people were outraged by the expulsion of one of these boys because he was well liked. And huge debates raged about forgiveness, and personal freedoms. That was step one of the Great Purging. Step Two shall be known as The List. Basically everyone at Lakeside knows who drinks and who doesn't. Unlike your typical school Lakeside has harsh punishments for athletes involving drinking. Basically a few seniors went and named names of everyone they knew who drank, and talk about a division in the senior class. People confessed and people were outsted from their sports team. Some people didn't confess and got off. But it created quite the uproar. So did these seniors do the right thing ? Was Lakeside just in expelling two students ? Anyways thus was the month of the Great Purging.

Now back to the wonderful month of March. Track started a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Sure the first couple practises caused soreness in every part of the body but it feels great to be out and running. Today was a beast. A lactic acid day with massive wind and it was cold and I think I ran the crappiest workout I can remember running but it's these kind of workouts that make running a PR in the 400 and the 200 seem plausible.

March Madness is upon us and I cant wait. The NCAA tournament is one of the greatest things ever. So good luck to everyone filling out their brackets. I'm flling pretty confident this year.
Final Four Prediction: Boston College, Duke, Kansas, and Michigan State
Sleepers: I've got a load of upsets this year after last years fiasco

And WIAA State Tournement wraps up this weekend. And what a year for basketball at Lakeside. The girls ended their an awesome season in the sectional semifinals. In the regional finals our girls beat the number 1 Division 2 team in the state. Lindsey Wetzel scored 31 points and hit seven threes. They lost to the eventual state champion Monroe Cheesemakers.

The Boys who lost one game in the regular season ended there season in the regional final game against state bound Monona Grove. It was dissappointing considering I think our team was by far the better team. A lot of my good friends are on the team and I felt bad for them. But things go and in the end the season was spectatular. I've read a couple accounts on some other blogs or some great games, but Lakeside's Basketball teams and fans really were part of special atmosphere at every game. The Marshall games, Elkhorn, Columbus, Milton, Poynette and so many others.

And to wrap up this blog I'd like to share something from church. Remember when you were little and you asked your if you could help her baked cookies? She smiled and said Yes of course. She takes your hands in hers and pours in the ingredients and mixes the bowl. You get a huge sense of accomplishment becuase you just made cookies. Your Mom smiles when she hears you telling all your friends you baked the cookies because she knows that you did nothing at all. Your mom just made you feel like you were helping. The same is true for everything we do on this earth. Every single accomplishment, every single time your pleased with yourself. Youve done nothing. God baked the cookies.

Then the rosary beads count them 1..2...3

So I havent updated because..... I have absolutely no reason. But one of the single most extraordinary things ever has occurred in my life. I saw Flogging Molly live. It was one of those things that was on my list of things that I needed do. And wouldnt you know they opened up there tour in Madison Wisconsin on Saturday, February 3rd. Tickets were 10 dollars. Ladies and Gentlemen this is a steal considering they could be the best live band ever. Classic Flogging Molly was in full tilt with such classic songs as The Devils Dance Floor, Rebels of the Sacred Heart, Whats left of the Flag, The Kilburn High Road, Tobacco Island, The Seven Deadly Sins, and Drunken Lullabies. My friends, nothing beats the high you get from Irish jigging, head banging, screaming along to songs and the absolute madness of Flogging Molly live.
In other news I have a new love in my life. Her name is Sandra D, she's black, plays videos, and has up to 14 hours of music playback with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

An Invitation

Hey I would like to invite anyone who could make it to a teen worship service my church is trying to start up. I'm posting song lyrics from some old school Relient K. Sometimes the lyrics from Relient K's first CD seem pretty cheesy but right now there hitting home. So the next time your in my current conundrum: You can't find a clean undershirt, your far to far behind in school work, people confuse you, your not acting like yourself, and orange juice has become your drink of choice its time to listen to Relient K self titled

Balloon Ride

There were times in my life when I was confused.
There were things between me and God that were blocking my view.
So I prayed,
"Oh dear Lord, take these things away so I can see."
He answered my prayer and at the sight of Him
I fell to my knees.

And until I went onto that fateful trip.
I thought I was on a sinking ship.

Until,
I went on a balloon ride
(I could see everything from up there).
I went on a balloon ride
And now everything seems clear.

I strive towards infinity.
Though sometimes I don't know what to do.
When other people laugh at me
All I do is look towards You.

Well on my through this life yet something was gone.
I looked round and round and then I found I needed some one.
So I prayed,
"Oh dear Lord, fill me up and make me whole.
Present in my life Jesus Christ, save my soul."

Saved by Sunday

So I've been absent for awhile. This last week was slow and utterly worthless. I slept almost all of Monday and Saturday.I gues it was one of those weeks where I basically wanted to sit around and do nothing. School sucked and I limped into Sunday School tired, upset and as usual came out in a better state of mind. I think it would've been hilarious to see my face when Kimberly brought me a gift because I'm sure my face was dumbstruck with a look of ,"Why would you give me gift?" and then when Gabby and Liz gave me a present I became rather embarrassed by the whole thing. My lesson ended up not working so I was like hey lets play a game. Which somehow took up the entire 75 minutes and they loved it. I have always have so much fun with those kids, I guess Sundays always assure me that I need to doing something with children. And then at night my parents and I went to a play at the Rep. It was called Laughingstock and it was hilarious, I laughed so hard. It was basically a play about an acting company that did shows in the summer in an old run down barn. I laughed harder then I've ever laughed at any movie. So a big thanks to the parents for getting those tickets and making me appreciate theater.

Cup Stacking Madness

For anyone that was at the Fall Retreat or knows anything about cup stacking you should check out the world record holder.

http://www.stupidcollege.com/items/Cup-Stacking-World-Record

The wedding

So I did stay at a Hilton this weekend, in Kekauna , for my cousin Rachel’s wedding. I really don’t know my extended family that well and hardly ever see them so these experiences are usually a little awkward. Anyways the wedding was really nice, and the pastor had a crazy sermon. He had a little tupperware thingy. He went on to compare their love now to opening the lid on the tupperware, and proceeded to pull topics out of it. The reception was awkward as well. Maybe I could explain this a little more. All of my cousins are like at least seven years older then I am, so we really have nothing at all in common well maybe we do? Part of the problem I guess is their my cousins and I really don’t know them at all because we don’t really ever get together, but its not like my family is at each others necks. I guess we all just live our own lives. But the food was good, and I got to see my sister, brother- in-law, all of my cousins little babies, my cousins, aunts and uncles and my grandma and grandpa. My dad spilled milk all over the place at the reception, and sat in a pool of milk for most of the night and then at the gift opening he managed to spill orange juice everywhere. My dad turns into quite the character at these family events without the influence of alcohol. At one of my other cousins weddings he put a pineapple on his head and tried to balance it on his head, and at the gift opening he was in charge of taking pictures with our digital camera and was just flashing everyone, if it helps my dad is 57 years old, bald, and a minister. But for being 57 he’s really young at heart. So that was my weekend.

The Melon Crew

On Thursday, I had one of the most fun experiences ever, or at least in recent memory. So we had to write a paper for College Prep English, based on results of social experiment type thing? Some people in the past have put up “Out of order” signs on the vending machines, glued coins to the ground, and handed out nasty cookies filled with salt. They record how people react to these factors. Dave, Ben, Jordan and I decided we were going to hand out melon to everyone we saw on state street. So the journey started Thursday afternoon. We all went to Woodman’s Grocery Store to find our melon. The four of us had no idea what kind of melon we wanted, in the end we chose Honeydew. We came to this decision by asking numerous older looking ladies what melon they liked and they even helped us figure out which melons were good. Apparently in order to tell if a melon is good or not, first you shake it around, then you feel for firmness, smell the ends, and weigh the melon. Who knows it this actually works. But it looks funny when there are three little old ladies trying to explain this science and four teenage guys pretending we understand. So we picked our melon and then it was off to State Street. We arrived at about six o’clock and went to eat some delicious BBQ wings and cut up our melon. Then the fun began. Jordan, David and I were the official distributors of the melon while Ben decided he would record the data. When it all started off we were all in a group ,and we asked the simple question would you like some melon? We got some strange looks but not to much in the way of reaction, but then our confidence began to grow and we were all over the place. We asked every ethic group you can think from Asians who could barely speak any English, to Muslims who were afraid of us, to African Americans. We asked every social class from the Professor looking type, to the middle aged, to the college student, to the homeless men, gorgeous women, and genuine gangsters. People would ask us if we put date rape drugs in the melon, or what we were doing, and Jordan tells some funny story about a guy telling him, “to get that shit out of my face before I slap it out.” I was walking with people for blocks asking people if they had ever tried honeydew melon before and if they liked it, why they wouldn’t try mine, offering my honeydew as an appetizer, and who knows what else. It was absolutely insane and so much fun. I can now say I’ve had a conversation with a homeless man. We all got offered jobs at best buy. A manager was watching in the window of a bar and told us if we could get people to take Honeydew melon we could sell stuff at Best Buy. So now Dave has the job, he’s been trying to get for awhile. Ben got so jealous of how much fun we were having he tried to take over our job and none of us would give it up. The three of us actually managed to give away to whole Honeydew melons cut up into slices to complete strangers. We started out our journey as high school students conducting some research for a paper and left as the Melon Boys.

( The inspiration for this task was the book Running with the Buffaloes)

from the library...

Ahh a blog from study hall, how refreshing.

Desensitization

Desensitization is a term that has been in the news a lot in recent years. The theory that videogames and gory movies desensitize children to violence was first thrown around right after the Columbine shootings. Crazy couselor people basically said all of the violence in videogames, television, and movies are desensitizing children to blood and guts. I thought this was a load of crap. I wrote like three research papers in school on how videogames in particular were not the cause of the problem. I love videogames, how much I actually play has decreased a lot, but I still play and probably will for years to come. I wrote my papers based on the idea that the problem was the parents and the families these kids were growing up with. I would say it was one of those things I felt very strongly about. Today my opinion was changed. Today I was teaching Sunday School to 1st and 2nd graders. The lesson was mans fall into sin. And I was telling a story, and one of the little trouble makers in the classroom was like I like videogames like San Andreas. This is the game that is always on the news know as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I will admit that I have played and had fun playing GTA games. I even owned an older game in the series. I sold the game because I felt it went against my beliefs as a Christian. But I was a little shocked because these kids are in 1st and 2nd grade! Two of them went into detail about how cool it is to see all the blood when you run people over and shoot the flame throwers. The problem still comes back to the parents allowing their children to play these games, but why even put these games on the market? This tragedy never hit home until today, when little Cameron piped up, "San Andreas is cool because you get to kill people."

Posting again.

I went to my first football game of the season on Friday. They've been playing well and are ranked 4th in the state. It was a great game, congrats to the football team. They went into the fourth quarter down 26-14. They definetly weren't looking to hot but they came back and ended up winning 29-26 against a better then average Waterloo team. Nathan Robinson had another huge game. The man has close to 650 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns in three games.

Saturday was a disc golf mini marathon with the cross boys. Jake, Dave, Ben, and I went and played at the course in Whitewater. Its an awesome course, its a twelve whole course because apparently they ran out of room. It's fully wooded and has some awesome elevation holes. We played three rounds. So we started out the first round and Jake has never played before so it was just a fun round. After one round Jake And David decide we are going to play doubles for money. So its Jake and David against Ben and I. The first round was going pretty bad we were down $1.50. But I was happy because it was only 75 cents per person and it was really competetive. Halfway through the round Ben catches Jake and Dave got all gung ho and wanted to play another 12. This time complete domination was in hand. Jake and Dave just fell apart. It was hillarious though, they got so mad at themselves and started all this wooping and hollering to get themselves psyched up. So there going nuts after they win 50 cents on one hole. We come up to the next hole and Dave says

Im putting this in the hole

Theres a tree right in front of him and he nails it and all of us just fall on the ground laughing, by the end of round three Dave and Jake were down $11.00. At which the event became a 3 day outing at different courses so they can try to win their money back. But the best part was all of them fell in love with disc golf.

Today I went to 9 o'clock church for the first time in ages. I usually go to 10:45 so I can sleep in, but today they were installing the Kids for Christ teachers. I extremely excited because I get to teach and it starts next weekend. But it was amazing to see how many people were there. I go to a large church and because I go to 10:45 there arent as many people so I kind of get the impression that St. Marks is not that well attended. My dad preached an amazing sermon on Solomons Temple relating to the congregation being the foundation of the church. Then new members were introduced and there were 40 new members. The highlight of the service was the burning of our debt. We remodeled our church eight years ago and we finally payed off the massive debt. So they burned the debt papers in front of the congregation. It just felt like a really productive church service and was particularly uplifting.

School

I've been in school for two weeks now, and it really hasnt been that bad. All of my classmates seem to be loaded with tough classes, like calc, physics, anatomy, and chemistry. My schedule on the other hand is a smashing good time. I have Family Life, Economics, Relegion, College Prep English, World Lit, Computer Applications, and Consumer Math. All of these classes are geared toward discussion and usually a good time. Consumer Math at the moment brings me back to 2nd grade. We are currently learning how to tell time. Cross Country continues to maintain an upbeat pace, the highlights of this weeks included running with the grasshoppers, and eating the rice crispy choclate bars in the back of the bus while singing. Dave, Evan, Blake, and I have officially started Bible studies again.

However the weekend has been great. Saturday was the Verona Cross race. Simply insane, its a massive race with a crazy finish. After the race I slept and layed around basically all day. One of the coolest things of the weekend was playing organized soccer for the first time in four years. I had a blast, I played with an odd bunch, including a former coach, Kendall Uttech, and an English accented soccer stud. All of the drop passes and long crosses reminded me how dedicated a soccer player I used to be. I almost didn't go to lakeside simply because they didn't offer soccer.

Cross Country and cleaning the bathroom

I made it through the first week of cross country and its already been a blast. So for the first couple days I was the sorest I have been in a long, long time. Thats what happens when you don't run all summer, but the soreness is always a great trade for the friendships and the memories. Every single person on the cross country team is linked , through crazy rituals, LSDs, speed workouts from hell, and just the general craziness of a bunch of kids who go out and run for fun. Its funny that I came into Lakeside as a hardcore soccer fanatic, I'd never run more then one mile. I'm still not to sure why I ever went out, probably to get in shape for basketball or track. I'm by no means a good long distance runner (in track I stay away from anything longer then 400 meters), but I'm thankful I went out. Here are just a few memories from the best opening week of cross country I've experienced.

- Cammy "Coon Huntin" Stark applying horse oil to his arms. This bottle clearly said do not not apply without wearing plastic gloves, use only on horses.
- Bens friendly greeting that involves tickling and a high pitched giggling
- Teaching Freshman how to weightlift
- hearing about camp from Steve Schumacher
- running in a massive downpour

"The Bathroom"
This evening I encountered one of the most disgusting things known to man, my bathroom. I had no idea how unbelievably disgusting this place had become. I cleaned for a solid hour. I realized why I'm comfortable using public bathrooms. The light fixtures were full of dust, the fan was full of dust. The floor was covered in an unkown substance. The mirror was not fully transparent. I had 8 sticks of half used deotorant and five half full tooth paste containers. The sink and surrounding area was probably the most interesting because when you mix tooth paste residue, face cleanser, and hair spray into one huge glop it looks fairly normal but when you rub it off it looks black and filthy. My purpose in telling this story, is to make sure the bathroom you are currently using is cleaner then the one in the gas station down the street.

and Summers at an end

Well I took a brake from blogging for the summer but now that summer is unofficially over I can start up again. Cross Country starts up tomarrow and I'm dreading the first couple weeks because I'm not in shape at all and I feel like I let the team down.

So as this summer started to wind down I realized that so many things in my life are coming to an end. It's wierd to think about but this next year is the last time I'll see many of the people I've become so close to over the last four years. The time has flown by, but I've grown so much and so have my friends our relationships have grown but I only have one more year. It leaves a lot to be desired out of my senior year. Junior Staff is done, forever. When Junior Staff training was done and everyone except Steph and I were balling, it wasn't such a big deal. As the summer winded down I realized how Camp is such a huge part of my life ,and how affected my life in such a positive way over the last 10 years, but this could be my last summer. And I'm finally done with family vacations. Sounds lame, but those were some pretty fun times with the old folks. So as the summer ends its out with the old in with the new.

The Past: Our cradle, not our prison; there is danger as well as appeal in its glamour. This place has influenced me and shaped me. Every year new challenges are presented. At first it was going up there without my parents. Then it was the water front. Then it was the high ropes course. Then reading the Bible daily My LIT year, it was the simple shock of it not knowing anyone or really knowing any of the staff. And finally the goal of taking the same zeal for the Lord I have at camp back home. I have yet to accomplish all of this, but as I grew older the challenges always grew with me and they pushed me. With challenges comes growth and yet again I feel like I left camp stronger.

This year was another amazing experience. Contrary to most of the other staff my best experience was probably meeting the younger junior staff. Im sure the AC's would have had a blast, but it was amazing see one of my campers from last year get a day camp and seeing how excited he was. Everyone up their always amazes me. Some people are scripturally so firm and others are so fired about Jesus. Being among these people always has a great effect on me. And yet again these are the people are have such a simple time talking too. I have a tough time doing camp justice so I guess Ill just finish up with camp is a life changing experience.

C.O.

Track Update So we had two meets this last week and I only remember the Marshall Invite. They were some tougher teams there this year. Beloit Turner and Boscabel showed up and had some fast men. Especially this kid from Boscabel who somehow ran a 23.8 200 into this huge wind on the homestretch and managed a 50 second split in the 4x400 which is great to begin with but going into that wind made it amazing. Our boys and girls won. And I finally did good in the 4X400. Scott Johnson showed up and that man is simply the coolest ever. Scott is a teachers kid who attends UW-Madison. He has incredibly crazy hair, hes quite the nerd, he's the self proclaimed single sober person at UW, and looks incredibly unathletic but hes been know to run a 2:00 minute 800. I miss that guy he made track so much fun.

After the track meet I stayed over to Jordans. I absolutely love his family, they are all so friendly and it's just a great time. Probably the best thing about staying over was meeting the infamous Dane Rimmert. He was in Jordans history movie and ever since I've wanted to meet this guy. He's an 8th grader at Eastside and hes the palest man alive. In Jordans history movie about Lewis and Clark, Dane played like every single character. Try to picture this: This plale kid no taller then 5'4 dressed up as Sacajawea and then this pale kid no taller then 5'4 playing John Smith. Sacajawea (Dane) is so eager to see her long lost love shes running toward John (also Dane) and there running towards each other with arms wide open and they meet in the middle and Dane in all his paleness is hugging himself. It was one of the funniest things. So I got to meet him and he quite the cocky little guy. Jordan, Zach and I were playing kick ball against Dane, Jordans fifth grade sister, and her friend. Dane was talking trash the whole time and then got extremely angered when he started losing. However Dane got his revenge after awhile a Matt Weezing, Fenske, Justin Lohr, and Westphal showed up for poker. Zach Zastrow, Matt Doelger, Dane and I were all seated at the same table and Dane just destroyed us. Dane got back to back pocket Aces and his chip stack was just enormous. To bad the little guy is horribly inconsisent with his hands and lost it all. Poker nights are probably the best thing ever created even when you don't win.
Lets see prom is coming up this weekend and I'm not going but I am heading over to Ryan Schmidts afterwards and that should be a fun time. And Sunday I think I'm doing something with Kate to make up for my "prom lameness".

And now I would like to talk about one of the most inspiring kids I've talked too. His name is Chris Owen (C.O.) and he attends Marshall High School. He is a very talented runner, but what makes him special is he's a Christian. We were warming up for the 4x400 and I see the guy has JESUSFREAK printed on the back of his sweatshirt. Then I noticed on his spikes he has the words running for Jesus. After the race he came up and asked me if I had run the second leg and then congratulated me and I said you ran pretty well. But then I started talking to him about his sweatshirt and how cool I thought that was. He said he had the same thing on his Cross Country Sweatshirt but in small letters. He said when he saw the track sweatshirts he got excited because now everyone could see. Its amazing this guy from a public high school wearing this stuff. I told him about my Dead Man Walking shirt I wore to sectionals and state last year. Then we got to talking about D.C. Talk and some of there books. The guys faith is simply amazing. And he's walking off he says

Keep living the faith.

Growing Up

Track update: Last night was the Dodge County Invite and we won. It was pretty crazy. I ran all relays again. My 4 by 200 split was great, the 4 by 100 split was solid, and I ran yet another shaky 4 by 400, but we won the 4 by 200 and the 4 by 400 and our time in the 4 X 200 was really good. Zach almost got the meet record in the 3200 and it was just a fun time in the cold windy conditions of the early track season.

Tonight I rented Finding Neverland. The movie is all about the man who created Peter Pan. The man had an absolutely huge imganitation and is able to help a family overcome obstatcles with this simple tool. This bring me to one of my biggest problems with society today. I absolutely hate it when parents tell their children to grow up or for that matter when people are alwyas screaming "Mature".
When I was younger I had an absolutely huge imagination. I was always running around pretending to be a knight, or a cowboy. My parents never once told me to grow up and I think those were some of the best times. I would go on huge adventures into my back yard and pretend to swing across rivers via the willow tree. Life was so simple if I wanted to go somewhere I could go there or If i wanted to do something I could do it. I had no limitations. Today parents put limitations on their children. They want their child to become the next great sports hero or the CEO of some massive company so they try to get their child to mature beyond his years. Why? A childs success is not determined in those early years.

By attempting to create a future all you are doing is destroying another childhood.

Here’s to Coherence and Punctuation

My Last blog was possibly the most incoherant piece of work ever crapped out by mankind. I attempted to read it and was dumbfounded by my own stupidity. I'm pretty sure that fact that I'm sitting in Lakesides Extended Learning Center will make this post devoid of all gramatical error.(Footnote The Extended Learning Center is kind of like a special club where all of the special kids go to recieve help. My parents chose to send me here after my grades were never as high as expected so now I sit in this little white room with Ben Paynter for 43 minutes everyday. He learns me Chemistry and we talk. Its actually pretty great. I think they should start requiring a special ELC membership card)

This week has had it ups and downs. Tuesday was definetly a big down. We lost our first conference track meet in a year. I definetly screwed up big time and pretty much cost us the meet. In the 4 X 200 relay Tim Norstrum and I managed to screw up a hand-off and we got disqualified. And then the huge 4 X 400 relay. We went to state last year and took 7th, so alot is expected out of us. It was my big debut as anchor and after hitting a 51.5 split last year I was expecting alot. 1st leg: Derek just destroys the Johan. Second Leg: Royce gets owned by Mccmorick. Third Leg: Norstrum pulls even with there third runner. And then I get the baton and try to push their anchor and it didn't work and I lost. Tough stuff.

Heres To March Madness and Coffee Shops

My life has be consumed by March Madness lately. The UWM game today was the single best basketball game Ive watched in recent memory. The heart those guys plays with is truly inspiring. And Bucknell almost getting screwed last night by the single worst call ever. They get the ball stolen up like 2 with like 1:20 left and they try to steal it back and the ref calls a flagrant foul and I went nuts. I was screaming and throwing everything. Thankfully they still won. The whole tournament has beeen such a surprise and every team I've seen has played quality basketball. A big shout out to Andrew Bogut of the Utes. The guy is nuts. But anyways today was alot of fun even when I wasn't watching basketball. Zach woke called this morning and we went to Whitneys coffee shop. Beauty and the Bean possibly the greatest name for a store ever because its a beauty parlor/coffee shop so we talked to her for quite some time. She had a pretty crappy Spring Break so it was well timed. Then we went thrifting( visiting thrift stores looking for deal). I once found a huge Western Michigan flag for $1. This wonderful article now hangs in my basement. Today I found nothing at all, but Zach found some records he said his dad would love so our trip was a success. Then I immersed myself in March Madness. After that Dan Lindsey and Justin came over and we play Nintendo 64. It was so much fun. We played WCW/NWO Revenge and Lindsey definetly owned us all. WE talked for awhile and realized how screwed I am for my seromette thing and Danny came up with the great idea of walking out there dancing and chanting J-e-s-u-s help us do our very best. And thus was a good day.

The spectacular crash

Have you ever felt like your life has dramatically changed for what seems like absolutely no reason? I suppose high school is suppose to be a big time for change, but everything feels so strange. Right now it feels like I'm in an endless gain and loss situation. I've been hanging with some new kids but with that I'm losing old friends and just a ton of stuff like that....

On to the life. Our car got hit yesterday and My mom said it was pretty funny. My mom was parked in the good old Pick'n Save parking lot and she walks outside and she said there was just like a complete silence and you could tell something just happened and then some people just outside said, "You could have heard that from inside I bet." And then she looked to where she thought our car was parked and sure enough manya people were gathered around it. She gets to the scene of the accident and a whole family is in this van and some girl who just got her temps or some nonsence is in the drivers seat just balling and her dad told my mom to take it easy on her. So my mom goes up to her and says it will be ok because no damage had been done. The girl wails I think I bent your license plate. And my mom is just like it was like that just promise me you wont do this again. The girl just go nuts and says of course I wont. My mom was like laughing her head off.

A couple of us went to the Watertown vs. Lafollete sectional semi-final game and that was a game and half. David Dubouis is simply dominant. Watertown prevailed with some great D and timely shooting. Afterwards off to Jordys for some poker and I brought home the first big win. Quite timely too considering I currently have no source of income. So the added 15 dollars was quite the win.

Track has been going really well. Were all pushing pretty hard which is good to see. The loss Jon Homan, Kevin Dorsey, and Reed hurts the whole competetion factor and the overall fun, but I'm pretty optimistic for the season.

I finished Sub 4:00 today and its and excellant book. I think anyone who loves sports should go read it. Its really inspiring for the runner. It the story of Alan Webb the first High Schooler to run a sub 4 minute mile in like 50 years and the pressures facing him during his first year of high school.

The great Overdog.
The heavenly beast
With a star in one eye,
Gives a leap in the east.

He dances upright
All the way to the west
And never once drops
On his forefeet to rest.

I'm a poor underdog
But tonight I will bark
With the great Overdog
That romps through the dark

- Robert Frost

the road to state begins again

Track started today and wow I believe I will become the most flexible man alive. We do so much stretching and when youre done it feels good but while your doing it ooo man its excruciating it feels your just going to explode. Anyways I dont think we will be as good as we were last year with the loss of Reed. What a guy he pretty much made our team. He would score like 350 points a season, he was basically a total stud. Evan Samanus with got a haircut and the guy is crazy looking. He and Ben Detro are carbon copies now and I love it.

A Blog

How refreshing, Spring is right around the corner and even better track starts Monday. I was planning on going to the basketball game and then to Jordans. I never really made it there but I'm going to blame this on Ben Paytner who was suppose to come along but did the most awful thing ever. He stayed out to late and dyed his hair, so he got grounded and I was left alone ,all alone. I managed to get thoroughly lost. I seriously asked directions of like 400 people. I think the whole population of Madison at one point helped me try to find the elusive Mcfarland. I was going on fine and was like wow I'm amazing and then my road ended and I just turned and was like maybe I'll magically find it. It didnt happen. First I asked this one older lady at a gast station and she gave me super detailed directions and I was just woaah your amazing, but I had no idea what she said and got lost again. I stopped at another gas station. This time I asked a HUGE gangster guy with a ton of tatoos and he was white and he talked like the guy from Godfather. But he gave the most amazing direction and this time I had him write them down. He got me on my way. Now I had to figure out where the high school was. This didnt happen. I did ask to people at Hallmark store. The guy I asked was really messed up yet funny. I also asked a librarian and some random person shoveling snow at a middle school. I saw a Token Creek sign and knew Jordan lived there so I stopped at a random gas station and sat there for awhile because the game was still going. I wasted money playing some dumb quarters game. After awhile I called and Jordan, Joel,Dave, and Nate came and got me. It was a grand time. I laughed harder then I have in like 10 years at the dumbest stuff. We played Settlers of Catan and the greatest evil of all Texas Holdem aka poker.

And I knew I should never start but I did and I became addicted
.

I came out ahead so that was good anyways. Joel was taking everyones money because he couldnt get a bad hand. At this point the Kelsey comments started flowing and Joel was emotionally out of it. We talked politics and about the WELS and futures. Then I went to church at Eastside. I like that church. They had a guest speaker of course and he was rather long winded. The Prep Singers were there. I unexpectly saw Emily K. It was a great time. Especially the guy that was going the big tough gas station man that would have owned Dave.

Uneventfulness

Church Ball today and we added another L. Our coach is getting laid off which really sucks because he is the best teacher. I had him for one year and it was his first year out of MLC so my class was probably a little rough on him but hes a really good Language Arts Teacher and he just got engaged and now hes done with his teaching career in Watertown as of the end of the year. Hmm my mom outlawed the league of settlers today. Because I'm apparently sick and I dont know shes crazy. You can't just stop league play, its a routine. Tradition should not be stopped. I talked to Ali German on the phone tonight which was amazingly fun. School was entertaining this week. Best thing all week was Harry Potter trivia at lunch with David. We started asking each other questions and then Dave decides that he would answers louder is clearly more correct.Screams of Sirius Black, Dobby, Platform 9 and 3 quarters so by the end the whole lunch room is either laughing hysterically or looking quite puzzled, but then the G came and told us to stop.
Friday night was very exciting. I got home from work and was innocently listening to Five Iron Frenzy and chatting when Justin and Jake showed up at the door. I was like woah. Then Dan showed up and I was wow. And then Zach showed up and I was like Oh My.They all ended up staying over and we played settlers of Catan, watched Super Troopers, slept on a futon all five of us(not really, but close) fun fun times.
Saturday, went to Daves with Joel. Joel used to go to camp with me and I havnet really talked to him in awhile. It was great, we talked about life and what not. We got to Mad town and guess what we settled but then we did some manly shopping. Fun fun times. All in all Ive been having great days as of late

But even the greatness of all of this could not compare to work on Friday night. I was given the opportunity to talk to someone about God. Someone who has never heard about Him before. Some of you might know but at work I am now labeled as the only one who doesnt drink and stuff like that, pretty cool label. But this guy started talking to me about how girls at work and somehow we got to talking about sex. He asked if I was still a virgin and I said yes and I plan on being one until marriage. This led into what my beliefs were and I told him and I ask him what his were. Some of the things he said were amazing. He said There has to be a God and mankind is getting to smart for its own good. We talked about cloning and everything and I started filling stuff in. It was the greatness feeling in the world to reach out. I was on top of the world. God really does work in mysterious ways. Part of what brought this out was our shared passion for old times. Like King Arthur and Roman Mythology. He explained that the reasons he liked old times so much was because things were simpler, and there was always someone striving for excellance. So that was my personal high for the last while.

Join the brotherhood, come settle

Wow another Sunday full of Catan and Church Ball and I loved it. I will admit I was pissed about this. But I did watch Bruce Almighty for the first time today and I loved it. Around five new plans were made to bowl. I went over to Dans and Zach came and we ate at Taco Bell, what a place. I wonder how many Mexican Pizzas I've eaten there. Then on to Wal-Mart. Jessica met us there and we sat on the furniture and talked. The best thing was deciding we are going to buy lobsters and have lobster fights. This was Jessicas great idea. Out of nowhere she says

Guys,Guys We should go around asking for money at school to buy Lobsters with and then we will hold lobster fights!

Twas a good time at the grand old hangout. We met everyone at the bowling alley and it was fun. Only five dollars for two games, Thanks Nicole. And I discovered Jake Snyder is considering MLC. Today Pastor Marty Stuebs resigned from Lakeside Lutheran High school. Today Lakeside lost it's best relegion teacher. Some hated him and others would not be where they are without him. From the time I was seven years old I have known of the craziest of Pastor Stuebs. I remember my sister coming home her senior year and talking about how much she had gotten of Pastor Stuebs' Relations Class. I was lucky, I got to experience the craziness of Stuebs as a sophomore. His room is always crazily themed. Last year he had a big thing on being burried with Christ, I think it was. So he had a coffin in his room, and an electrical chair(fake one). He had a special gift, to get you to apply all of those years of learning bible passages, plowing through the relegion worksheets, and spitting back answers. You might think youve experienced this, but I can gurantee it was nothing like Stuebs Relegion. The man has said some crazy things, that you dont hear out of the mouth of a teacher, but he knew what he was doing. I think he always did. I got more out of that class then anything Ive gotten out of school before. The discussions are so personal and I dont think any other teacher can get the answers out of a student that he could. I feel like Lakeside will always be missing something. Hes been there for 30 years. I think hes affected so many people. To think my class is the last class that will ever have him is scary. Hes accomplished what so many people dream of, affecting people.

LLHS Bible Studies aka Circle Faith Discussion

This is an explanation to LLhs bible studies. This way I wont have to email you kids indivually.

Circle Faith Discussion

Circle Faith Discussion is a group of students who have decided to begin living their faith. Circle Faith Discussion is a Bible study group whose goal is to create and open forum to discuss living the faith day by day.
Juniors David Homan and Evan Samanus started this group which is held a couple days a week in the atrium at 7:30 a.m.
Samanus said, “We hold it in the morning because it’s a great way to start the day and start off you day with encouragement from your peers. I feel like I’m gaining confidence with my faith. I’m becoming more willing to share my faith overall. Even though we go to Lakeside the kids here are still sinners and it helps to talk about my problems.”
David Homan said, “It helps my faith to grow. It’s a much different experience talking about God with your peers, in comparison to going to church or religion class. It helps us get through our daily struggles.”
They pick one person to lead each discussion. That person shares some passages from the Bible, or a Bible study book and gives some background information. A reflection question is then asked to induce some discussion and participation. The devotions are traditionally ended with a circle prayer. A circle prayer is where everyone in the circle says part of the prayer.
So far there have only been about five total people that attend the bible studies, but Homan and Samanus are hoping to have some new faces in the new year.
David and Evan say, “More people would be awesome. It would help our group gain more insight and become more diversified.

why school ?

This extended weekend has been great and makes me wonder why we have school. But tonight was beautiful Zach Wambold and I went to Best Buy and bought a power cable and an Rx Bandits CD and ate at the fancy pants McDonalds in Delafield. The way back to Lake Mills for the basketball game was nuts. You see Zach has insane speakers in his car and Streetlight Manifesto and Blind Guardian with massive bass just make you want to go nuts. Then we went to the game. We lost to the Preps again. These kids just piss me off. It was a close game and K-Mad Dog steps to the line for chance to get within one and they start harrassing him while shooting. I mean come on kids you don't even cheer or watch the game for the first 3 and a half quarters and then you plain suck it. But it was still fun. I went home with Zach and Kate, what a time. Zach supervised mine and Kates "date" at where else but McDonalds. It was great time. I love those kids. Emily K did an awesome job with the whole dance team thing. Preps dance team is insane.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mattjames.blogspot.com/2005/01/why-school.html' title='why school ? I slept for forever. I woke up and watched Troy and Brad Pitt is the man and Orlando Bloom needs to just quit. Evan came over for a whole hour, but we had fun and started playing a videogame and decided were going to make a movie where Orlando Blooms character gets killed repeatedly thanks to a time machine. Ben Sachse also came over today. We went to library and in the libraries gargage were like 50 VHS tapes so we dug around in the Watertown Public Libraries trash for awhile and found some pretty cool movies(not really, ever heard of Jonny Suede? It had Brad Pitt in it and he has crazy hair, and Hercules In The Underworld which is based on that TV series oh so long ago) and made ourselves look homeless in the process, even better. Justin also came over. Ben soon felt sick and went home. But then we played Settlers of Catan, with my dad. It might seem odd, but Settlers Of Catan like unifies my family. Whenever we go to my sister the best time is spent when brother-in-law Greg, sister Heather, Father, and I play. So Justin was introduced to the craziness of it all and another fun day was had by all. (Pointless note but I think for the first time I saw the stars inside the city of Watertown.)

Eff you en

After I got done with school, things got fun. Jake and I went and developed film in the mysterious room in the 400 hall way called the dark room. It was exciting, but my film didn't out. It really didnt matter because it was fun and we had some deep conversations, very interesting. Then we had to go and find a way to get to timber creek and get back before Evan got done with wrestling. And scrounge through open lockers, carbage cans etc. to find coupons. We found Phil and coupons so we went to Timber Creek. We discussed extreme nerdiness and it was great, but we also discussed college which got me really wondering what in the world I'm going to do. It was a great time. Then back to school and off to Evans. Evans was alot of fun. Kelly Slater really did surf Lake Michigan and get injured Jake. So now Blake had to cut him from his fantasy surf team. Then Evan informed Jake on camp goings on and Jake was going crazy and it was hillarious. That was my day and it was fun.

Alive and Kicking ( A Day of Electrical Tape and Snow)

We have a Sadie Hawkins Dance at our school now. And someone special asked me. David Homan asked me before school today and I was immediately in shock that such a hot man would ask me. I of course said yes if I get to wear khaki pants. During Chemistry I played with electrical tape and that stuff is so cool. I put in out my pen and played with it all day until I became a sticky mess. I jumped in the snow for the fun of it today. I just ran outside rolled around and ran back inside. History made me cry because Jordans video was so funny. He has a little friend named Dame. Hes see through and played every Indian in there movie based on Lewis and Clarkes expedition today during school.Yesterday church ball was amazing. We got owned 70 something to 20 but it was the funnest game ever. During warmups this one kid on our team broke one of the lights in the new gym, the same kid destroyed another guy on our team with a knee to the testicles. Hmm we have this 5 foot nothing kid, he flashed some guy while playing defense. He also fell over in the middle of the court for no reason.

POP

(I suppose you could call this a thoughtful blog instead of my rambling on about stories, life, and what not.)

So POP is my new acronyn. It stands for the Power of Prayer. Prayer can be unbelievable when your connected. By connected I mean your not just going through the motions. When you just go through the motions Prayer feels pointless. At school we pray after lunch and Pastor Jeremiah Ewings sure has a way with words but somehow it doesn't translate. By no means is this his fault, but its just not the same as a personal prayer. A few weeks ago, it was crazy at my grandparents up in the attic. I prayed and prayed and everything just seemed perfect afterwards. During this prayer I closed my eyes and It was almost like I was in a room, but it was a white room and it was just me and God. And we talked but It wasn't lost in translation. It wasn't talking to some unknown crap, it was talking to my almighty councelor. The other day I was digging through a storage closet and I found my coolest shirt ever. It says Pray Hard and on that shirt is listed 1 Thessalonians 5:17 which says "Pray Continually". Pray continually think about that. Continually how far does continually extend ? Gods cell phone is always on. When your taking that Darn Algebra Test with 40 steps for each problem, when your offered drugs, when your getting ready for the big race, when your life just plain rocks and you wanna just say God you rock hardcore. Hes always open and always cares. Prayer is powerful. Use it everyday and pray for your friends.

Useless

Today I set a recored I fought the urge to sleep and got up at 8:48 to go to 9:00 church and made it. That was my big record setting performance for the day. The whole purpose of that was to make it to Paynters early but his family is plagued so our video was put on hold. I hope you guys get well soon. At about 4:00 I went out and about. I stopped by work to get my hours and realized I dont know anyones names but theres always like Hey Matt so Im thinking I need to work on that. I made my annual trip to Wal-Mart where I was going to buy Switchfoot, but then yet again I was like no I don't want to. Then I saw this incredibly attractive Rolling Stones CD for $9.78 but was frustrated because I wanted classic rock but I didn't know if this Cd was worth it. So I wondered off and got some cookie dough. I was like I will talk to Matthew Borck to see which classic rock CD I should buy but for now I'll get Switchfoot. So I wondered back and there was Matt Borck and the entire Borck clan. They all look so much alike I love it except for Lucas but hes a jew.So he took me over and was like you need to buy this Stones CD but it was 35 dollars so I said i can't afford it.(Hannah is the best) But then Matthew pointed out the Who ultimate collection for 15 dollars and I love it everyone should go buy it now because The Who are beautiful.

A Night and the New Year

So it's 2005 and last night was enjoyable. I worked then I went to Bens to work on our movie and we have along way to go. After that we went to the docks to hear Evan rock. Fuel the Fire is coming along nicely, considering they just started and they already have 3? of their own songs. The screaming could have been cut down. And Evans playing piano increased. But otherwise I was thoroughly impressed. And Chrissy Olson came for like 10 minutes that was awesome. Then to Zachs which was a blast. Nicole Mallow is officially one of the guys. And Kevin Deli and Zach Womboldt with all of their prank calls, that was the hardest Ive laughed for ahwile. Their was alot of Halo 2 as well always a good time.

So now for a reflection of the best things of 04 in no particular order.
Camp Philip and all the people and things related to it. The place is the best. The people are simply the best. And I wouldn't be the same without it.
Simon and Garfunkel concert with Dave was incredible. When you hear The Sounds of Silence live with a bunch of Hippies you will understand.
Track this past year was amazing and ourguys team was so blessed. At Lakeisde the girls track team is expected to dominate, but this year the guys did the same. From the huge conference championship, to winning the Borg Invite, Sectional, State. I get a huge rush just thinking about it.
The family vacation to Canada and everywhere else. It was with the parents, but I loved it, Prince Edward Island should be visited by everyone.
Crazy nights at the theater and then going to Wal-Mart and Shopko all the time in summer.
Just started, but Bible Studies with Evan and Dave. In the New Year hopefull we can get more people to attend.
Theres probably alot more stuff that I left out but those were the things that came to mind.

And all I want to say, is I'm not here to stay.
And I don't care as long, as I can finish strong.
Just wake me up on time,
Just wake me up on time.
Don't they know that this is a long road.
The race we run's a marathon.
And all I want to say is I'm not here to stay.
Life ends and I don't mind,
Just wake me up on time.
And all I want to say is I'm not here to stay.
And I don't care as long, as I can finish strong.
Just wake me up on time,
Just wake me up on time. - OC Supertones ( take a listen)

So I haven't blogged in awhile, but I have a lot to say I think, so here goes. Christmas Day started off at roughly 5:45 a.m. at Toms. Toms is the crappy little grocery store that I work at. But it was cool because everything was going extremely well. We were flying and getting everything done ahead of time. All of the stock boys were suppose to work till 10 so we were blocking from 9:30 to 10:00 very slowly. Blocking is a time consuming labor involving moving all the products forward. At 10:00 we went to check out with Tom. But the old geezer informed us we had to block the entire store! This sucked major butt, especially when I spent about 30 minutes getting well acquainted with the well....feminine objects. I was unbelievably pissed off. I rarley get very angry, but I was ready to kill someone. At 1:30 we finally completed our task, and recieved our paychecks. They included a 20 dollar gift certiifcate to anywhere in Watertown.I was taken aback considering I have only worked there about one month. That made me decided Tom is pretty cool. The rest of the day I spent putting songs on my iPod, which is officially the love of my life.

Christmas Eve was just me and the ancient ones. We managed to have a fairly fun time. We opened giftts before church for like the first time ever. Hurray! I recieved an extreme rocking chair.Onto church, I gave a sermon. No joke a real sermon that I wrote. It went better then expected, but I thought I could have been better. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Zastrow for the props. It was actually fun, up their tlaking about Jesus in front of like a million people. We went home, ate some raw meat and went to bed. (Almost forgot I hung out with Blake and Evan on this day, and that was awesome. Thank you boys for the Cheetos they made my Christmas.

Christmas Day was totally uneventful.

The 26th was spent atraveling to good old Rothchild Wisconsin where theirs like three feet of snow. Hmm we made it to the Braatzs(Moms parents) safely.

The 27th was simply hilarious. My mom wanted to make my Grandma some soup so she did. And now its time for some back story. My grandparents on my mothers side are the BIGGEST pack rats ever. For instance my Grandfather on my mothers side has a basement full of everything you could possibly think of but not just one of everything you could possibly think of. More like 5 of everything you could possibly think of. So back to the present. My mom was in the kitchen looking for a soup container. And remember my grandparents on my mothers side are the biggest pack rats ever. But she couldnt find a single leftover container. She went into shock but not just shock she totally blew up. She tore apart like their entire kitchen looking for a leftover container. And in the end she did find a couple (meaning literally 30+ but I love my Grandma so only a couple) containers. In the cupboards she also found 3 crock pots, 5 coffee makers. 2 food processors, and God knows what else. She took a bag and said we are throwing some this away, and my grandma tried to talk her out throwing any of it out. For instance she claimed one of the coffee pots was her mothers first one so we could not throw it out. she needed the non electric coffee pot in case the electricity went out, etc. My mom managed to escape with two bags which had to be thrown out in the dump far from their house so they didnt dig them out of the garbage. But the good part about my family is in the end of everything we always laugh. I think I will have to write more about my family sometimes. They are a pretty odd group and have some good stories.

Straight from American Literature

I just finished my American Literature exam and I'm writing this from computer lab 512. Thats a good thingy, I bombed Chemistry but that happens when you have "poor study habits" And I think I bombed like everything but a new semester brings a chance to start off better. And I need to get away from Lakeside and people.

Everybody go to Jefferson to see Evans rock. Its his bands first concert so he needs support.

Oh I just rememebered time for An Ode. An ode to Ali German. Ali German is a special person. Hmm odes are tough maybe I'll explain how I came to know Allison. So I was at Camp Philip and this girl just comes up to me and says You hate me and I was little taken aback, but we fixed that problem and now we are good friends. She says we are going to get married but then she almost killed me. So I dont know about that anymore. Just kidding Ali, your the coolest

Tomarrow is gonna be hot. I get done with exams and then I get my iPod. And Ben and Dave are coming over. Just like the old days when we had time for wienerfests. Those were the days, guys are so simple we can sit for hours and play videogames and laugh for year about an entire bag of cheetos getting sucked into a vacuum ,trophies in innapropriate places, giving headset, sleeping with a heater literally on my face. Or going psycho on Daves beanie babies and furniture because I lost at a videogame. I think if females want to be cool they should act like that. It would make things so much simpler

And I'm hangin out with Chrissy Olson over break hopefully, That will be most enjoyable

And heres a closing poem from Mr. Rober Frost I would like to share.

Into My Own

One of my wishes is that those dark trees
So old and firm they scarcely show the breeze
Were not, as 'twere, the merest mask of gloom,
But stretch away unto the edge of doom.

I should not be withheld but that some day
Into their vastness I should steal away,
Fearless of ever finding open land,
Or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.

I do not see why I should e'er turn back,
Or those should not set forth upon my track
To overtake me, who should miss me here
And long to know if still I held them dear.

They would not find me changed from him they knew-
Only more sure of all I thought was true.

Pointless but great

Wow, a note to the Great Gatsby(Mr.Grasby aka principle) today was utterly pointless but it was fun nonetheless. In American Literature Whitney Sellnow was mocking Jordan for being useless and I of course joined in and made fun of him for being shallow and just wanting to make money. Which is even funnier becuase he wants to be a male nurse. Then I said I want to be a teacher and be utterly useless in the summer. Jordan was quick to point out I needed to marry a women with money in order to achieve this dream. So it was decided I was going to live on a campus near nurses but not go to school so I could marry one. And I'm pretty sure this is my new plan for life.

Later on during "chapel" Evan and I were battling with shadow monsters on Jon Barzysynzkis hood and reminicing, as usual, on how he was in our cabin at Camp Philip but now hes a goth.Interesting.

I went X-mas shopping with Christmas I bought my father pens and my brother-in-law and sister A Beautiful Mind. I bought my father not 1, not 2,but 3 pens so as to not feel cheap. We made up curses on the way home like bass whacker, son of a bee hive and others.

So my day was fun, tomarrow is dooms day and thats all for now.

shagless

Christmas

School needs to stop now! I studied for like six hours today like 4 actual quality hours andI think its more then ive ever studied and I will still fail Chemistry its inevitable. Church league basketbal we are the biggest bunch of sucks that ever did suck but itll still be fun and we practised today. My only recreation for the day, fun times. I decided I'm going to buy an iPod with my newly found money and x-mas money to come I hope.
Today the Sunday school christmas concert was amazing. Those kids are crazy. They may be afraid of the dark but they are willing to to scream out for Jesus it was refreshing and made me realize christmas is fun.
Nicoles wasnt exactly the greatest until Lindsey, Zach, Fletch, and I got to play duck hunt in Nicoles room now that was quality. Brett with his gangster shots that was amazing.

The Shag has left

So my Saturday, I woke up went to a Hair off Main (what a clever name) and my shag is gone for awhile. Its kind of comical. Then my Saturday turned into study hell. I studied forever and im still pretty much on the clueless side of Chemistry. Intermurals was exciting when Matt Jahke threw down a dunk that shook the gym oh my it was exciting. And crazy Derek hung on the rim and then Sean started argueing with Mr. Doerring and we were kicked off the court but still got the W like 60-15. Then I gave a speech on Friday, Where I was Ralph Waldo Emerson and everyone laughed becuase i said "we were a natural fit becuase we both had tuberculosis and it was suppose to be funny but i didnt think anyone would get it but yeah. So im off to Nicole house.

Job

Live from the library again, so this morning we had our weekly devotion and we read from Job. What a perfect time to read from Job with semester exams and what not around the corner. So God allowed Satan to basically screw Job like no one has been screwed before and Job praised God, what a guy.

We have massive history project and Kelsey, Ben and I have officially decided to do a movie based on the the Alamo live from Bens garage, and I promptly claimed the role of Davey Crockett, fun times.

Chrissy it is now 12:11 which means you have been at the doctors for 11 minutes ? hope things are going well.

Dave Homan is now the MAN because he found a hott girl from Sentry where last names are apparently not used.

So I'm hungry and off to lunch. This is the 4th time i have tried to create one and I finally did it. Along the way i managed to do the impossible, make Mrs. Huska the librarian lady giggle.
